Good news Socialites! I just read something that says socialites live longer. Okay, it didn’t say “socialites” per say but it was pretty close:
“People with wide social networks and multiple social roles are more likely to survive heart attacks, less likely to experience a recurrence of cancer, and less likely to be anxious or depressed. They even are less susceptible to colds.”
I found this little fun fact in my psychology text book and it’s based on an assessment of a series of studies. So, go out there and be social: you might have a greater immune system because of it! And also expect to see a couple of events from theSocialites this summer.
