Several of my posts will probably change in focus being that I am in college all the way in the midwest now. Don’t worry I’ll still keep y’all in the loop of everything.
The holders of power and influence in our society are shifting in a way it never has before. We are emerging into a new era where a new medium is playing a prominent role in the successes of young people and changing the blue print of how to achieve greatness and notoriety in our society: the internet. Let me know if you want nay contacts, etc. I met some people from Essence and other mags while I was interning at People en Espanol magazine. I also know the person in charge of internships for all of Time Inc. I am also the new student represetative for the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. hey speaking of school, when it comes to academics style and self presentation i look up to you. i followed your footsteps graduating from Philippa Schuyler and recently taking my Math A regents on august 16. I passed that test with an 81. i will be in Math B in my freshman year at Banneker. so i just wanted to say thank you for being my role model.
