download: Mickey Factz Love. Lust. Lost

Rappers these days are no stranger to putting their emotions out there.  Mickey let’s it all out on his latest collection of music titled Love. Lust. Lost.  Read more to check out what Mickey has to say about the project and what inspired him to create it.  Then you can listen for yourself by downloading it HERE.

From Mickey Factz:

Love.Lust.Lost…. Wow. This whole collage of music let’s me know how much I love & bond with my fans. This project was extremely spontaneous. I had no plans of putting a collection of songs out soley revolving around the concept of love. Truthfully, Love.Lust.Lost. was supposed to be a video project from I’m Better Than You; my last mixtape featuring the songs: Friend Zone, Interlove & Again. The songs never transpired into & I was left with this title that lingered. I then wanted to put this out on Valentine’s Day but I saw sooooo many artists releasing tapes on that day, so I opted out. I then decided while I was in Atlanta to put this project out a month after Valentines. My ex created the artwork which is a famous Keith Hering drawing hugging by placing Mickey & Minnie ears on top of the figures. Check her out at
The music revolves around true instances that have happened in the past 2 years of my life regarding love, relationships, lust & of course heartbreak. I hope this synopsis will further break down my reasoning for each song.

Download: L.A.’s ‘The Presentation’ Mixtape

Not only is she a rapper but she’s a college grad.  First emerging on the music scene as an interviewer for a music site called MADonly, L.A. graduated and on one afternoon found herself in the middle of a cypher in front of LES hotspot SWAY.  The video circulated across social networks because as the lone female in the cypher she held her own and then some–many proclaiming her to be the most lyrically savvy amongst the boys.  Following the buzz L.A. switched gears and began pursuit of a career as an MC.  This is her first project titled “The Presentation.”

Mickey Factz: The Dark Phoenix ALPHA

While the world awaits the sun to rise to begin life, we await it to fall to become alive. The shadows is our solitude and catalyst for true art and thought. Amongst it, we are not damned nor idolized. Therefore we can only be true to ourselves. And from that, the world will eventually seek light and understanding.
 - The Dark Phoenix

After much anticipation, artist Mickey Factz released his EP/mixtape entitled Alpha.  Posted just hours ago it’s already receiving praise and rave reviews.  It’s the beginning of a new chapter, and a new year for Factz.  Click the link above to download.
