Birthday Outing

I went out to eat at a soul food place in the village on Friday called the Pink Tea Cup, wasn’t exactly what I expected but the people were very nice and one of the cooks sang to me. And he sang well, I almost got tears in my eyes. It always makes me uncomfortable when people sing to me. Then, my friends wanted to go to Avalon even though it was 12 and I was convinced we would not get in because the line is usually wrapped around the corner by that time and the tics are like 30 dollars after 12. But, once we got there one of the security guards stopped me, and I knew him. So, he let us straight in and GAVE us tickets, straight V.I.P. service. We took a bunch of pics for those party photographers, and had fun. And I was able to go into the “vip” section for a second, and told them it was my birthday and got a shout out. DJ Enuff was the DJ for the night. Oh, and they threw money, lol I grabbed two dollars.
